New Children's Book illustrated by Allison Aboud Holzer and Rich Kolb

Living Legends of Alexandria Gains Non-Profit Status



Artist-Photographer Nina Tisara has incorporated Living Legends of Alexandria as a non-profit organization based in Alexandria, VA.

Living Legends of Alexandria started as a photo-documentary project recognizing people who are making history in Alexandria, and will seek 501(c)(3) status. Living Legends is the recipient of a 2008 grant from the Alexandria Commission for the Arts. Set Designer Mariana Fernandez Joins the Baltimore School for the Arts

Artists and Set Designer, Mariana Fernandez accepted a teaching position in set design at the Baltimore School for The Arts. This year she has completed a series of set design commissions including: "THE SOUND OF MUSIC", Millsaps College, Jackson, Mississippi, "Made in Argentina", Inter-American Development Bank, Washington, DC, "Agustin Lara, Boleros and Blues", GALA Hispanic Theater, Washington, DC.
